Te Tīmatanga is inspired by the Māori legend of Papatūānuku (Earth mother) and Ranginui (Sky father), depicted using the Koru - the shape of the young fern frond. Māori designs are full of meaning, and Te Tīmatanga symbolises new life, new beginnings, and new opportunities. The pattern runs the length of the belt with the design changing at the tip. The change in design is a unique feature of our Māori design belts that you won't find elsewhere.
Te Timatanga is designed and handcrafted in Otaki (New Zealand) from the highest quality full-grain leather. We know you'll be enjoying this belt for many years to come.
Te Tīmatanga is a 40mm wide belt to fill the belt loops on your Jeans or similar pants. The leather is firmer than commonly found on the market to give better support and less stretch. The belt comes in black or brown and the selection of different buckles is pictured, just select the one you want at checkout.
The belt has 5 holes and the size of the belt is the length from the third hole to the tip of the pin, please check our sizing guide before ordering. Our belts are measured in inches, and we use two-inch increments between sizes. Our standard range is from 28" through to 42", we may have a few larger sizes available by contacting us.
